The Artist 
Glen Powell is a self-taught artist capturing the spirit of the contemporary west through fine art pencil drawings. Originally from east of Missoula, Montana, Glen’s propensity for creating works of art can be traced all the way back to his childhood, where he frequently displayed a natural gift for creating works of art. Glen began drawing around the age of ten and won his first award at fifteen when his mother secretly entered one of his drawings in the Montana State Fair. Using the simplest of mediums, #2 pencil and drawing paper, Glen's work amazes and inspires art lovers and collectors everywhere. Glen began offering his work to the public on a full-time basis in 1996 and now resides and works from his home in Gold Canyon, Arizona. Creating his art in his home studio, and engaging in a rigorous traveling schedule to show and sell his work, Glen has exhibited his talent at more than 600 shows and events in multiple states where his art has earned him several awards, some of which include "Best of Show" and "Most Creative Artist." He has also been a guest on Fox News, interviewed on CBS and NBC, published on the cover of Desert Cowboy Magazine, in American Cowboy Magazine, Rodeo News, and other publications, articles and award presentations. Intense detail and heartfelt realism are hallmarks of Glen's work. His drawings convey a soul - stirring quality of feeling and refinement......a testament to the Artist's creative passion.
